OK so, I would like to create a Sculptural work made from wood. Preferably from a tree trunk or thick tree branch, but, it has to be a soft wood tree as I like soft wooden trees rather than hardwood. They are easier to work with and have a nice colour to them. I want to make something large in scale. Something towering and interactive. I feel my techniques can definatly be expanded and improved so I would like to use the crafts of carving and whittling. The work should also be installed into gallery space. Trees are normally outdoor based so changing the context would be a good idea.
